Brillante! —The Nagaland Piano Festival

Nagaland Piano Teachers’ Association formed

The magnificent Brillante! —The Nagaland Piano Festival held at RCEMPA, Jotsoma with the heart to celebrate piano music, performance and education since September 28 came to a close on Saturday.
The Festival was head by Director, Khyochano TCK Ngully and Event Manager, Zedino Seyie.

Over a course of three exciting days there were high level performance demonstration and teaching through the resources; platform and forum provided for local teachers and students to explore deeper understanding of piano studies; opportunity for all upcoming deserving pianists to compete at a state level competition resulting in the launch of the Nagaland Piano Teachers’ Association with Founder Khyochano TCK Ngully; Chief advisor Dr. Vivi Peseyie; Board members: Zingrin Shishak, Bethel Tsuzu and Sahu Peseyie.

In the completion round the result was as follows:

Category B (age 15 and above) winner: Imsongdi Imsong (pupil of Khyochano TCK Ngully,Music Academy Kohima) and Petenei Tacu (pupil of Khyochano TCK Ngully)

Category A winner (8-14 yrs) winner: Temsuienla Longchar (pupil of Vizokho Nagi, Music Academy Kohima) runners up: Ati Mero(pupil of Ruth Sasu)

Prizes for winner of category B was sponsored by Yamaha CLP 625 worth 1,20,000/- and runner up- Korg B1 Furtados worth 43000 while category A winner – Yamaha P-45 worth 46000 and runner up Korg B1 by furtados 43000.
